Welcome to the Gateway Gun Club
Nestled beside the historic Gateway Lodge in beautiful Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin, the Gateway Gun Club has been a cornerstone of Northwoods sport shooting since 1938, the same year the lodge’s resort complex was completed.
From its early days, the club has proudly maintained one of the Midwest’s most extensive trap fields—a tradition that continues today. For decades, sportsmen and women from across the country have traveled here to take part in annual spring and fall tournaments, making the Gateway Lodge a premier destination for trap and sporting clays enthusiasts.
Season & Access
The Gateway Gun Club is open to the public and to Gateway Lodge guests from May through October.

Trap Leagues
The Monday Night Traveling Trap League begins June 1st at 4:30 p.m.
Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or just getting started, it’s a great way to connect with other enthusiasts and enjoy a friendly competition.
