ATV/UTV Trails
Since November 13, 2017 the Town of Land O’ Lakes opened all town roads to ATV/UTV traffic. A designated preferred route has been mapped for ATVs & UTVs.
Cross-Country Ski & Walking Trails
XC Ski Trails — Maintained by the Land O’ Lakes Fish & Game Club, these trails offer a true Northwoods skiing experience.
Walking Trail — A scenic route starts near the Elementary School and weaves through woods and around the baseball diamond, thanks to the town’s Beautification Committee.
Bike Trails
Land O’ Lakes Bike & Pedestrian Trail
7.5 miles of paved, 10-foot-wide trail starting in downtown Land O’ Lakes and extending west to Forest Lake Road. Ideal for a day outing through quiet forest land.
Agonikak Trail
10.5 miles of rustic trail north from Land O’ Lakes toward Watersmeet, great for hikers or mountain bikers. Not paved, but recently refurbished and well-marked.
Future planned trail system
Both of these trails will eventually become part of the larger Wilderness Lakes Trail System — set to become the premier hiking & biking destination in the Midwest.
